Vegan Cuts Makeup Box Review – Fall 2016
You guys may have already heard, but Vegan Cuts recently launched a quarterly MAKEUP BOX (all kinds of yassssssness!!) that delivers 4+ full-size vegan & cruelty-free cosmetics to match each season. From lipstick to mascara to luxe nail lacquer, they’ve got all your needs covered and will customize your box based on your beauty profile. The box is $39.95 per quarter (with free US shipping).
The Fall Makeup Box has 4 items total, valued of over $150!
Let’s dive in!
Juice Beauty PHYTO-PIGMENTS Liquid Lip in the shade Blythe, $24 – So, really fast, there was a bit of separation (which I assume is natural, especially for all-natural products), but I couldn’t for the life of me, get the colors to mix back together. That aside. I’m pretty crazy about this beautiful neutral shade and I love the way it applies and feels on my lips. It’s nicely pigmented and yields the perfect amount of subtle shine.
Au Naturale Organic Creme Eye Shadow in the shade “Coffee”, $20 – I’m excited to see 2 all-natural, squeaky clean, green beauty products in this season’s box!! 😀 I adore Au Natural as a brand and I really like their new packaging – definitely a huge upgrade. While I love the texture of this long-lasting shadow, it’s not a color I see myself using often if at all. I’ll probably be passing this along, but it has gotten me excited to try some of their other pretty shades.
OFRA Cosmetics Illuminating Blush Stripes, $35 – OK, wow, PRETTY!! See my swatches below… so much shimmer and lots of glowy potential! It’s versatile, too – you could use this as shadow, highlighter, bronzer, blush… multitasking/multifunctional beauty products rank super high in my book!
Bellapierre Cosmetics HD Makeup Primer, $75 – I almost fainted when I saw this item goes for $75! It must be magical. I’ve been on such a green beauty streak lately that I’m a teensy bit nervous to actually wear it, though.
Ingredients: Dimethicone/Vinyl, Dimethicone Crosspolymer,Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Parfum (Fregrance), Linalool.
I did see that this primer has amaaaazing reviews on Amazon.com, though (also goes for ~$32), so if you aren’t too concerned about the ingredients, I have a good feeling you’re probably going to love this.
Verdict: Diggity dang, so much value in their fall makeup box – $150! That’s a steal for 4 full-size items, right? Faves in this quarter’s box include the Juice Beauty Liquid Lip and Ofra Cosmetic Blush Stripes. If you’re a lover of vegan and cruelty-free makeup, I highly recommend giving this goodie box a whirl – so many fun snd new discoveries for not a lot of $.
